The biggest fan convention is looking to launch a branded awards show franchise. I’ve learned that Comic-Con International and Lionsgate, partners in the new video streaming service Comic-Con HQ, are in talks to create a Comic-Con awards show based on the 46-year-old event itself that would draw on its big fan base.
