Showtime is developing a television series adaptation of The Kingkiller Chronicle, based on the bestselling Patrick Rothfuss book series produced by Lionsgate, with Lin-Manuel Miranda executive producing. John Rogers (Leverage, The Player) serves as showrunner and Miranda also will compose music for the series, which is based on Rothfuss' global bestselling contemporary fantasy trilogy.
